A hilarious list has emerged of some of the most bogan Aussie traits of 2020, including swearing at flies, booking a Bali trip for 2021 and using a beer box as your recycling bin.
From saying ‘mum and bub are doing well’ to bringing your empty esky along to the ‘servo’ to top it up with ice, there are countless ‘subtle’ bogan habits that just about all Australians can relate to.
The best ones have been listed in the Facebook group ‘Subtle Bogan Traits’, which has attracted more than 136,000 followers since it was launched in early 2015.

The common traits that suggest you have ‘bogan’ tendencies
You know you’re an Aussie when:
You swear at flies and tell them to ‘F**k off’.
Giving the ‘STOP SLOW’ roadworker a thumbs up as you drive past.
Saying ‘F**king oath’ instead of a simple yes.
Calling your missus ‘ball and chain’.
Taking a handful of 50c tomato sauce sachets from the servo station after you’ve paid.
Paying for something on Apple Pay and saying ‘just on card thanks’.
Saying ‘true’ back to a person when you have no idea what they just said.
Driving with your arm hanging out of the window.
Pouring half of your beer onto the barbecue and say ‘a bit of marinade’.
Patting the donation dog at Woolworths.
Referring to your parents on your social media page as ‘mama bear’ and ‘papa bear’.
Feeling robbed after discovering there are no chips left at the bottom of your Maccas bag.
Wearing sportswear when you know full well you don’t have an athletic bone in your body.

People said they have regularly spotted Aussies subtly cleaning their shoes on the bristles of an escalator and trying to pretend they are not doing so
Many highlighted anyone that takes this photo ‘for Instagram’ is guilty of being a bogan
Leaving your rubbish somewhere in a shop was highlighted by thousands as being one of the biggest bogan giveaways
Many said if you pose in front of a sold sign and say ‘we did a thing’, you are most likely a subtle bogan

‘Chucking some extra sh*t on a frozen pizza and convincing yourself that it’s better than one from a pizza shop,’ one social media user highlighted
Another shared a photo of a car with a poster of the AFL star Dustin Martin, and said it’s bogan if you have something similar
Many said the struggle to get the supermarket trolley back into the ‘hole’ with the other ones is a ‘bogan struggle’
