Reviews.org will pay one person $2,500 to watch 25 Christmas movies in 25 days

A review site is offering to pay one lucky winner $2,500 to spend a month watching movies on their couch.

Reviews.org is advertising the ‘Ho-Ho-Holiday Movie Dream Job,’ wherein one selected applicant will get cold, hard cash to binge Christmas flicks.

The ‘Chief Holiday Cheermeister,’ as they are calling the position, need only to watch 25 pre-selected holiday films in 25 days — and fill out a questionnaire — and they walk away with a generous check and several streaming service subscriptions.

‘Do you love all things holiday-related, like peppermint mochas, fully decorated homes, and cuddling on the couch under a snowflake blanket while watching a holiday movie?’ asks Reviews.org.

‘Good, because that means you’re the right person to help us find the best holiday movie of all time. How are you going to do this, you ask? You’ll get to watch 25 holiday movies of your choice in 25 days.’

Those who are interested need only to be 18 or older, be eligible to work in the US, and have a device compatible for streaming.

They can then apply online until 11:59 p.m. (MT) on December 4, and a winner will be announced on December 7 on YouTube.

Must-watch: Movies include Home Alone, Elf, The Grinch, Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life, Jingle All the Way, and A Christmas Carol.

The selected winner will then need to spend the next 25 days watching 25 holiday movies they may have spent December watching anyway, including Home Alone, Frosty the Snowman, The Santa Clause, Elf, Klaus, A Christmas Story, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Rise of the Guardians, and The Polar Express.

Also on the viewing list are The Holiday, Christmas with the Kranks, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Arthur Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1967), The Grinch (2018), Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life, Jingle All the Way, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Deck the Halls.

Finally, the list rounds off with Love Actually, Last Holiday, Four Christmases, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and A Christmas Carol.

What’s more, whoever is selected will also get one-year subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, Apple TV+, and Hallmark Movies Now to access all the films.

They’ll only need to complete the job by filling out a survey.
