Monaco’s royal twins Gabriella and Jacques, four, join Prince Albert for a fun-filled day

Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques of Monaco were treated to a fun-filled day at the 59th Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Sunday.

The twins, four, joined their father Prince Albert, 60, at the prestigious event, and were greeted by characters from popular TV show SpongeBob SquarePants.

Prince Jacques, who is heir to the throne, was quick to embrace the cuddly mascot of Patrick Star, while clad in a navy top and striped shorts combo.

Meanwhile, his sister, who was dressed in an adorable matching, navy dress and white trousers and could be seen receiving a yellow bouquet, appeared to be a little more shy.

The star-studded event was attended by a host of famous faces, including Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.

The twin’s appearance comes after their mother Princess Charlene of Monaco got motors running at the classic 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

The princess waved the French flag to signal the start of the gruelling endurance race on Saturday.

It is held every year at the Circuit de la Sarthe raceway in north-west France

She arrived at the race and met with two-time winner Jean Todt, before also getting her own personal look inside one of the cars.

The 41-year-old was snapped inside a Porsche trying on a helmet from one of the drivers, and after she also got to go for a personal lap of the course with driver Francsco Castellacci.
