An Australian mum has shared how she cleaned her partner’s muddy Adidas sneakers and made them look brand new.
On Facebook Emily revealed used the Gumption Multi-Purpose Cleanser, which can be purchased from Coles for $5.40.
‘My partner’s shoes I got him LAST Christmas. ‘There was no way I was throwing away $200 shoes,’ she said online.

The before and after images shared demonstrate how well the product works, as the Adidas sneakers look unrecognisable once the mud was removed.

Emily doused the sneakers in hot water with the Gumption paste to transform the sneakers to the original condition.

She said the process only took ten minutes to complete then left the shoes to dry.
After posting the insight online, hundreds of others were intrigued by the handy tip and thanked Emily for sharing the product recommendation.
‘They look brand new! Good job!’ one person said, another added: ‘Perfect.’
‘Damn girl, I’ll send you all my dirty shoes to clean,’ another said.
Previously Gumption has also been used to de-fog car headlights in seconds and make them crystal clear again.
Others who have experienced the same car issue tried the product for themselves and said it was ‘great’ at restoring the lights to the original condition too.
