An amateur Australian home baker has used the $29 Kmart Pie Maker to make Tim Tam ‘pies’.
Posting to a Facebook group dedicated to pie maker recipes, Sarah, from Queensland, revealed how she prepares the homemade treats using only three ingredients – white chocolate Tim Tams, shortcrust pastry and frozen blueberries or raspberries.
‘Forgive me as I am about to sin! Overload much! But delicious,’ she wrote in the caption of the post.

To make the dessert pies, Sarah lay the shortcrust pastry squares in each pie hole, crushed two Tim Tams and placed the pieces in the middle along with a couple berries.
The corners of the pastry were then folded on top of one another before the pies were cooked until golden brown.
But while the recipe is simple, Sarah admitted she will be tweaking the method in future.
‘Next time I would crush up the Tim Tam finer (I just crushed and chucked in). This way you’ll get your full pie look when the soft bit inside the biscuit starts to shrink,’ she said.
‘I would use 2.5 to three Tim Tams per pie and put more fruit in.’

Other home bakers rejoiced at the dessert recipe and seemed eager to replicate it themselves.
Some labelled the idea a ‘game changer’ that ‘looks amazing’ and ‘very tasty’.
The quick and easy dessert would be perfect to make during the festive season to share with family, friends and children.

And this isn’t the first Tim Tam pie recipe that has been shared with thousands online, as earlier this year another woman made a similar dessert in her air fryer.
‘I’ve just died and gone to heaven. Make as many as you like – I made only two, bummer,’ she wrote alongside a photo of her creations.
The mum also only used three ingredients – puff pastry, strawberry jam and Tim Tam biscuits.

Posting in the Aldi Air Fryer Recipes Facebook group, the creative mum said she used just three ingredients to make the tasty dessert: puff pastry, strawberry jam and Tim Tam biscuits
Similarly to Sarah’s dessert, the recipe is simple and involves placing a strawberry jam into the centre of a puff pastry square, followed by a whole Tim Tam (pictured left) then wrapping the pastry like a parcel (pictured right)
Similarly to Sarah’s dessert, the recipe is also very simple and involves placing half a teaspoon of strawberry jam into the centre of puff pastry square, followed by a whole Tim Tam and another dollop of jam.
The woman then wrapped the filling like a parcel and brushed the top layer with milk before placing in the air fryer.
She cooked the dessert for 12 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius and served them with ice cream.
