Foodies go wild for Australian £4 Cadbury Favourites which include discontinued Dream bar

Chocolate lovers have been sent into a frenzy after spotting B&M’s latest offering – boxes of Cadbury Favourites which include the discontinued Dream bar.

The UK bargain store seems to have imported the delicious cartons, filled with a mix of miniature bites from the British confectionery company, from Australia or New Zealand.

It includes fan favourites such as Crunchies and Flakes, as well as Dream, which is giving people a nostalgic trip down memory lane after the white chocolate bar was discontinued in the early noughties.

Selling the product for £4 across its stores, B&M remains open throughout the UK’s second lockdown after the government ruled it ‘essential’ – much to the delight of fans, who are eager to try the Cadbury Favourites.

Snaps of the 265g item were shared online this week, with social media users going wild for the treat.

One wrote: ‘I need these in my life’, and another said: ‘Need a whole box just for the Dream bars’.

A third added: ‘Look, we have to get some of these they have Dream in’, while a fourth wrote: ‘Oh wow! Think I need to keep me eyes open for this hitting the stores.’

One excited customer posted her find in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group and garnered more than 3,000 comments and 8,000 likes.

However, while the return of the Dream bar seemed to be a welcome surprise, some critics insisted Cadbury Favourites were ‘ruined’ by the inclusion of Turkish Delight.

One person wrote: ‘The Turkish delights will never be touched’, as another said: ‘Turkish delights are nobody’s favourite.’

A third unimpressed social media user added: ‘I’m baffled how Turkish Delight is considered a favourite.’
