A bride-to-be was left disappointed after the wedding dress she ordered online looked nothing like the photograph.
Meaghan Taylor, 23, from Stratford, Prince Edward Island, Canada, bought the $100 second-hand wedding dress from a private seller on e-commerce platform Wish.
The accompanying photo showed a stunning princess-style wedding gown with lace sleeves and an elegant v-neck.

The photo on the listing showed a stunning princess-style wedding gown with lace sleeves and an elegant v-neck, pictured, but the dress looked very different in person
But when the dress arrived, Meaghan discovered it was an ill-fitting frock that bunched up when she put it on.
The mother-of-one, who is planning to marry fiance Keith Reid, 30, next summer, said: ‘I was blown away by what I received.
‘It looked nothing like the photo when I ordered it. I was pretty heartbroken, but I couldn’t help but laugh.’
Meaghan said she contacted the private seller on Wish who initially refused to give her a refund.

The photographs led Meaghan to believe she was buying an elegant, flowing gown
She added: ‘I did ask for my money back. But they had told me I needed the original packaging and the box it had come in, which I didn’t keep.
‘I then proceeded to tell them that this ruined my wedding as I was expecting the dress in the photo. And they finally returned my money.
‘We hope to get married once the Covid restrictions are lifted, next summer is our plan.’

Meaghan shared the mishap on Facebook, writing: ‘On another episode of what we ordered and what we actually got. My face tells exactly how I’m feeling. Show me your online fails.
One woman commented: ‘OMG.’
Meaghan added: ‘It was too funny not to post. I’m sure a lot of people will get a kick out of it. I’m glad it made everyone else’s day just like it did mine.
Meaghan said she was pleased people saw the funny side, just like she did. Pictured, with her fiance and son
