Aldi is set to launch a range of iconic retro toys that were once topping children’s Christmas lists across Australia.
Nostalgic parents can get their Christmas shopping underway as the range hits shelves on Saturday, October 31 as part of the retailer’s Special Buys sale.
Among the deals are a 1935 edition Monopoly board for $24.99, a vintage My Little Pony from more than 30 years ago and a $39.99 Tonka Truck.

For $24.99, customers can choose from a range of plush toys, including Sesame Street’s Elmo, Care Bear’s Best Friend Bear or Care Bear’s Hopeful Heart Bear.
Based on the original moulds from more than 30 years, shoppers can get retro-styled My Little Ponies, which are beautifully packed in giftable window boxes.

For ‘mixing and mashing fun’, there’s Mr. Potato Head and Mrs. Potato Head potato figures with more than 10 pieces for just $14.99 each.
Take a trip down memory lane with a $19.99 retro Rubix cube set or surprise the kids with a classic Tonka truck with a tilt-back dump bed for just $39.99.
For car enthusiasts, you can find $4.99 Licensed Die Case model cars – including, Ford Mustang, Porsche, Lexus, Audi and Mercedes.
Parents can ‘adopt’ a $29.99 Pound Puppies for their kids, which were hugely popular toys from the 1980’s – and each set comes with a stick sheet, name tag and adoption certificate.
If you have a child who’s a bookworm, there’s Spot and Peppa Pig books for $4.99, or Disney Frozen, the Hungry Caterpillar and Toy Story puzzle books for $6.99 each.
Other items on sale include $8.99 mini board games like pub trivia or five second rule, and $7.99 retro wooden box sets such as dominoes, yo-yo and harmonica.
